S1 and S3 pupils from Hamilton Grammar will be making the news for real on 11 March 2010 as they take part in BBC News School Report.

We aim to publish the some news and feature stories by 1600 GMT on the News Day.  We will also be recording a radio news bulletin which will be available to listen to.  The students taking part in the News Day are Daisie, Rachael, Amy, Greer, Kirsty, Lindsay and Emma.  

In preparation we have been meeting every Wednesday at lunchtime to talk about story ideas and record some pratice news bulletins.

The girls have been out in the local community interviewing players of Hamilton Academical FC and Mr Brian Sweeney Chief Officer of Strathclyde Fire and Rescue.
