Information and Communication Technology "Hamilton Grammar School is at the forefront of information technology within
South Lanarkshire. Major expenditure ensures that a consistent managed
approach to the provision of ICT is maintained both in cross curricular
areas and core ICT related subjects.

Routinely pupils can expect to experience lessons which will contain ICT through
the use of; Data Projectors, Smartboards, ICT classrooms and our wireless Notebus
Solution. The school network provides core office applications such Microsoft
Office as well as dedicated departmental software packages such as Crocodile
Physics or Sibelius.. Pupils actively engage in research projects using the
internet and e-mail facilities provided by the school.

In addition to fixed computers, the school crrently has two mobile notebus units, each of which has a class set of wireless-linked notebook computers. These can be delivered to any room for class use. They provide connection to the school network, the Internet and e-mail accounts.
All staff are committed to the use of ICT within the curriculum.
