COUNCILLOR MARY SMITH VISIT

Councillor Mary Smith visited the school recently to be interviewed by S1 pupils. Mary was asked a wide range of questions by our young people including what our council does to reduce its carbon footprint, how to become a councillor, and what activities are there for young people in Hamilton and its environs. The Councillor was a very interesting guest and gave us some ideas for future interviewees… so watch out, you could be next! The interview was recorded as a podcast, using Audacity software which all of our pupils learn in the S1 ICT course. Recorded and edited by Colm Boyle of 1D3
